Lamar Rec plays tackle football in the Central Georgia Youth Sports Association.  The teams play mostly on Saturdays and do travel. There could possibly be weeknights games as well.  Practice days and times are left up to our volunteer coaches. Once the teams are set you will receive a call or text from a coach regarding practice times. Parents are required to purchase their child a NOCSAE certified football helmet. Helmets must be reconditioned or replaced every 2 years to meet standards.
